The Costa Rican Christian music landscape is celebrating the consolidation of a new voice with the arrival of “Dame Tu Bendición”, the debut studio album by vocalist Kimberly Matarrita. Officially released in mid-2024, the album has quickly positioned itself as a key element for both congregational worship and personal spiritual reflection.
International-Caliber Production
A fundamental pillar of this project’s sonic excellence is the participation of Salvador Flamenco. The renowned artist, composer, and founder of the institute and record label Note Musical in El Salvador, was in charge of the general production and musical arrangements for the entire album.
Flamenco’s expertise has endowed the tracks with superior interpretive quality, fusing the essence of worship with contemporary arrangements that enhance Matarrita’s powerful voice.
A Journey of Faith and Restoration
The production consists of 8 original tracks that navigate between spiritual ballads and contemporary music. The album seeks to offer a powerful message of hope, strength, and restoration.
Among the standout singles that have resonated with audiences are:
- “No Hay Vuelta Atrás” (No Turning Back) and “Huele a Él” (It Smells of Him): Songs that set the tone of surrender for the album.
- “Rompiendo Cadenas” (Breaking Chains) and “Quiero Habitar” (I Want to Dwell): Tracks that reflect the artist’s commitment to spreading spiritual values and freedom in faith.
The repertoire is completed by “No Te Soltaré”, “Grato Perfume”, “El Eterno”, and the title track “Dame Tu Bendición”.
